Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport is dedicated to making your trip as easy as possible by offering all the services you need. Everything is conveniently located within the terminal and clearly marked with signage.

Airport Ambassadors

Prior to the screening checkpoint, volunteer airport ambassadors are available to answer questions or concerns about your flight or that of your family or friend.  The red vested Ambassadors are located across from the American ticket counter and are extensively trained in all aspects of the airport's daily operations.  If you are interested in becoming an airport ambassador, please contact the Roanoke Regional Airport Commission Office and ask to speak to the Marketing and Public Relations Administrator at 540/362-1999, extension 265.

ATM

An ATM is located to the left of the entrance to the restaurant (second floor before security). It is linked to the following networks: NYCE, Plus, Visa, Maestro, Cirrus, Mastercard, Quest and Armed Forces Financial Network.

Desks

ROA invites you to use small work desks located along the second floor balcony outside security, or the technology bars located in each airline gate. Electrical outlets are located nearby.

Food & Beverage 

Tailwind Concessions offers a restaurant and full bar prior to and past the screening checkpoint.  Pre-security is open daily 8:00 a.m until 5:00 p.m.  Post- security is open daily from 4:30 a.m. until the last flight departs.

Mailbox

A U.S. mailbox is located on the first floor next to the main sliding doors in the center of the terminal.

News & Gift Shop

Hudson News and Gifts operates two stores: one prior to and one past the screening checkpoint.  Both stores carry gifts, snacks, drinks and reading material.  The stores also offer technology items, greeting cards and travel size products. Both shops are open daily from 5:00 a.m. until the last flight departs.

Pet Relief Area

There are two areas available for your pets to stretch their legs and take potty breaks. Small grass areas with Mutt Mitts (disposable bags) and trashcans are conveniently located outside of each end of the terminal lobby.  For service animals, there is a Service Animal Relief Area past the screening checkpoint. If you have a service animal, please ask an airline employee to escort you and your animal to the service relief area.

Vending Machines

Drink and snack machines are provided in the Consolidated Rental Car Facility (CONRAC).

WI-FI Service

Free wireless internet access is available throughout the terminal. To connect, change your SSID (service set identifier) setting to ROA-WI-FI and open your browser.
